We are currently recruiting professional and reliable Class 1 (C+E) HGV Drivers to support our client’s busy transport operation based near Manchester Airport. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced drivers seeking ongoing work, consistent hours, and flexible shift patterns within a well-established logistics environment.

The Role

Day Shifts

• Multi-drop deliveries and collections

• Local and regional routes

Night Shifts

• Trunking operations between Manchester and Heathrow

• Minimal handball involved

Pay Rates

Day Shifts

• Monday to Friday: £16.15 per hour (first 8 hours)

• Overtime after 8 hours: £19.00 per hour

• Saturday: £17.00 per hour

• Sunday: £20.00 per hour

Night Shifts

• Monday to Friday: £17.15 per hour (first 8 hours)

• Overtime after 8 hours: £19.85 per hour

• Saturday: £18.00 per hour

• Sunday: £21.00 per hour

Holiday pay is accrued separately; however, an advanced holiday pay option with a higher hourly rate is available if preferred.

Driver Requirements

• Valid UK Class 1 (C+E) Licence

• Minimum 2 years’ Class 1 experience required for insurance purposes

• Valid Driver CPC qualification

• Digital Tachograph Card

• Good understanding of driver hours and Working Time Regulations

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to pass a DBS/CRB check

• Ability to provide a fully checkable 5-year work history
